WYLIE —  Wylie East’s wrestlers played host to a number of teams this past Saturday at the Raider Invitational. In the process, they also demonstrated they’re a force to reckon with this season, capturing sixth overall as a team.
Rockwall Heath took first, while Plano West and Frisco Heritage were second and third, respectively.
Next up for the Raiders is a tri-meet with Lancaster and Lovejoy that’ll take place Thursday at East, and that will be followed by the Wylie Tournament at Wylie High School on Saturday, Dec. 19.
They’ll then enjoy the holiday break before resuming action Jan. 7 at home against McKinney.
