Patriots slay Lions in opener

by | Sep 16, 2020 | Sports

With all the ups and downs of 2020, there were only ups for the Wylie Preparatory Academy Patriots in their first game against Legacy Classical Christian Academy Lions on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Uland Field.

In dominating fashion, the Patriots mercy-ruled the visiting Lions 48-0 in two quarters.

“I think this was a great way to start this season,” senior captain Colby Dye said after the game. “I’m extremely excited for the rest of the season and can’t wait to pursue a fourth straight state championship appearance.”
