Raiders eliminated in semis

DALLAS – With each passing round, Wylie East baseball made history.

Their run ended last week in the Class 5A Region II semifinals at Horner Ballpark.

Midlothian picked up 8-2 and 10-2 wins on the campus of Dallas Baptist University.

Wylie East finished the season 21-15 overall and fourth place finishers from District 10-5A.

En route to the semifinals, they beat state ranked Frisco Wakeland 4-1 and 2-0 in bi-district, Carrollton R. Turner 7-1 in area, and district opponent McKinney North 4-2 and 6-4 in the quarterfinals.
