Pirates start 10-6A play

It was a splitting start to the Pirate district baseball season.

Things began with a 5-0 loss to visiting Sachse in the 10-6A opener.

Wylie was held to one hit and committed two errors. Luke Wiseman had a walk.

On the mound, Ethan Jeske went four innings and struck out six in the start.

Luke Matula tossed two innings and Kai Paul closed out the game and struck out one.
