Wylie East announces top graduates

The lead changed between junior and senior years at Wylie East High School, but that does not bother valedictorian Renae Helmberger and salutatorian Sydney Tanner who describe themselves as best friends.

Helmberger posted a grade point average of 5.7225 to secure the top spot in the Class of 2016 and Tanner earned a 5.7026.
