Wylie East Raiders rebuilding towards long term success

The Raiders open their season against the same team they opened with last season. Wylie East was at home to open the season against Mount Pleasant, where they lost the game 41-24 in what was indicative of the entire season. The Raiders strug­gled to get stops on defense through­out the season en route to a 2-9 finish and an 0-6 record in district.

Wylie East is projected to finish last in their new-look district by DCTF, but coach Dormady sees opportunity for improvement in this squad.
