SAGE to bring compassion, understanding to Davis students

For students at Davis Intermediate, relating to someone with a physical impairment took on a whole new meaning this month. CARE, Creating Awareness and Respect Education, is a program the fifth and sixth graders recently participated in during their regular gym classes.

“It was a hands on workshop,” Wylie ISD Council, Special And Gifted Education chairperson Christina Rigby said. “The goal was to help Davis students gain a greater understanding of others.”
