WISD to limit attendance to fall sporting events

COVID-19 wiped out school athletics in spring, and now dis­tricts are faced with finding a safe way to make Friday night lights shine bright for fans.

As of now, the school dis­trict plans to limit attendance at sporting events to about 33 to 40% which means Wylie’s 10,000 seat stadium will allow somewhere between 3,300 to 4,000 fans to watch games this season.
