Wylie youth honored their faith, families and veterans during a Performing Arts Showcase last month.
Students from Wylie Preparatory Academy, a university-model school sprawled across 14 acres on Skyview Court, took the stage Friday, April 26, at Firewheel Bible Fellowship to perform their award-winning one-act plays, play music and sing for their parents and friends.
The one-act plays, featuring students enrolled in Wylie Prep’s junior high and high school campuses, won numerous awards at a recent district competition. The junior high play advanced to regionals – where it won several awards – and the high school students took home some hardware at the state level.
