Collin College film series screens ‘The Wicker Man’

Collin College’s Auteur Film Series will screen “The Wicker Man” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center as part of its 2015-2016 “Religion: Opiate or Oracle” theme. Spring Creek Campus is located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

Starring Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee, this thriller revolves around the search for a missing girl in a Scottish island village and the unusual religious rites a detective finds as he investigates.

The screening is free and open to the public. Doors open 30 minutes before the film begins, and seating is limited. Some material may not be suitable for all audiences. After the screening, there will be a panel discussion led by Collin College faculty and staff.
