The Pirates are now 3-0 in District 10-5A following a 74-68 win over Sherman on Friday. In other action, Wylie East’s boys are now 1-2 after falling 69-65 at McKinney. On the girls’ side, the Lady Pirates are 2-3 after beating Sherman 59-26, with the Lady Raiders also at 2-3 following a 45-37 loss to McKinney.

Wylie’s boys and girls played Tuesday at Lovejoy, will host McKinney North on Friday and then remain at home Tuesday, Jan. 19 to face McKinney. The Raiders and Lady Raiders hosted Denison on Tuesday, play Friday at Sherman and will be at McKinney North on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

On Tuesday, Jan. 5, the Wylie boys basketball improved to 2-0 in District 10-5A play with a 58-46 win over Prosper on Tuesday, while Wylie East defeated Lovejoy 43-28 to go 1-1 in district. On the girls’ side, the Lady Raiders are now 2-2 after beating Lovejoy 34-22, while the Lady Pirates fell to 1-3 following a 71-70 loss to Prosper.
