Power challenge winner announced

Smith Elementary School students and administration were the proud winners of the Wylie ISD Power Challenge held last fall. The award was presented to the school that saved the most energy. Principal Kellye Morton, left, School Board Member Stacie Gooch, middle, and Assistant Principal Jamie Fletcher, right, accepted their trophy during their weekly Bulldog Boogie event. The district will hold a second challenge April 25-29, with a formal kick off day scheduled for Earth Day, April 22.
