The result of years of tasting and tweaking to develop the perfect ice cream soon will be available to downtown Wylie visitors with the opening of OMG Creamery at 100 N. Ballard Ave.
The ice cream parlor is the brainchild of longtime Wylie resident Ken Swayze whose culinary experience includes competitive chili cook-offs, barbecue competitions and catering, and ice cream perfection.
“I’m in the construction business. To me, cooking is a passion,” Swayze declared.
