Hailstorm continues to pose problems for Wylie citizens

Because of the extent of damage from the April 11 hailstorm that hit Wylie and some surrounding communities, it is taking awhile to make repairs to homes, business properties and public buildings.
The storm pummeled the area with hail up to softball size, damaging an estimated 12,000 homes in Wylie, plus properties in Murphy, Rowlett and Garland. Plus, the April 11 storm came on the heels of another hailstorm that hit the area about three weeks earlier, albeit not as devastating.
