Proposal includes apartments, commercial space
Wylie city council last week instructed staff to continue working with a developer to bring a $60 million project to town that includes multi-family housing, commercial and retail spaces in an urban center design.
The District is a project of Daydra Management and marketed by Heritage Properties, both of which plan to move their offices to the Wylie development.
Representatives of the companies met with the council in a workshop Tuesday, April 23. Assistant City Manager Chris Holsted reported that city staff and the developers have been working on a development agreement for about a year.
The project would be located on 19.66 acres along Hwy. 78 south of Alanis Drive.
