For their efforts to serve the community and department over the past year, Wylie Fire-Rescue personnel were honored last week at the department’s annual awards banquet.

The event was held Friday, Feb. 24, at the First Baptist Church Event Center downtown. In addition to awards, firefighters and their guest enjoyed a catered dinner.
