The membership of First Baptist Church of Wylie celebrates a pair of anniversaries this week, the sesquicentennial of the church’s founding and the 15 years since the Rev. Kris Segrest took over as lead pastor.
Although both anniversaries are milestones, the celebration at the downtown Wylie church is low key, consisting mostly as an outdoor lunch and activities after the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service.
