FBW celebrates two anniversaries

 The membership of First Baptist Church of Wylie cel­ebrates a pair of anniversaries this week, the sesquicentennial of the church’s founding and the 15 years since the Rev. Kris Segrest took over as lead pas­tor.

Although both anniversaries are milestones, the celebration at the downtown Wylie church is low key, consisting mostly as an outdoor lunch and activities after the 11 a.m. Sunday wor­ship service.
