Because the city of Wylie is in line to receive $2.43 million in federal COVID-19 relief funds, a program to provide assistance to businesses may be expanded and include relief for nonprofit groups that are helping families in need during the current health crisis.
The council discussed an expansion of its business assistance program during a workshop held as part of a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 26, and revisited the May municipal election that has been postponed until November.
