Bidders spend $135,000 at livestock show

Bidders stepped up to reward FFA students for their work by bidding $135,000 at auction for livestock projects in the 49th annual Wylie Show and Sale.

The show started Wednesday, April 6, and wrapped up Saturday, April 8, with the Parade of Champions at F.O. Birmingham Agricultural Center. A total of 149 head of livestock, and shop, food and horticulture projects were judged during the week.
