Sexual assault charged

A former Wylie resident was arrested last month by U.S. Marshals on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child filed in connection with an incident allegedly committed a few years earlier.

Booked into Collin County Detention Center on Dec. 29 was Larry Combest, 45, who now lives in McKinney.

Combest was arrested Dec. 221in McKinney on an unrelated charge when information about a sexual assault of a child subsequently came to light, Sgt. Donna Valdepena of Wylie Police Department reported.
