Summer Reading Club continues through July 30. It’s not too late to sign up and read. We have programs for children, teens and adults this year. You can sign-up anytime and join the fun. If you read 25 hours, you get your name in the hat for a drawing of select prizes

Pipdilly Power, a fun-filled, action packed music show will entertain crowds on July 16 at 11 a.m. This group has interactive, educational songs that will get the whole family laughing and singing. Come join us for this fun event. The next teen program will be July 21 and feature “Fun with Duct Tape”. Come see how many things you can create with duct tape. Wacky Wednesdays continue on July 22 with Annie. The Lego Movie will complete our movie series on July 29. Mark your calendar to attend the Cathy’s Critter’s Petting Zoo which will be just outside the library on July 30 at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend. A quick and easy way to help the Friends is to register your Kroger Plus Card through the www.krogercommunitycards.com website.  Choose the Friends of the Sachse Public Library when you register, and a portion of your purchases throughout the year will go to help the Friends help your library. Remember, you must update your information annually in August to continue your support. The Friends of the Library meet on the fourth Friday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the library. The meeting is open to the public.
