Council ponders effect of 2019 legislation

In regular session and during a pair of executive sessions last week, Wylie City Council tried to get a handle on how to comply with new laws passed by the 86th Texas Legislature that take effect Sept. 1.

The council met in regular session Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Municipal Complex on Country Club Road.
