Young drivers race in Wylie 500

A total of 106 young racecar drivers lined up Sunday afternoon, May 1, for 500-inch speed runs in the 12th annual Pedal Car Races hosted by Wylie Downtown Merchants Association.

The races featured preliminary and finals runs for two age divisions, two and three years old and four and five years old. There were 46 racers in the younger division and 60 in the older division.
