New fire station opens in Lucas

Brookelyn Hamilton,6, of Lucas had fun checking out the fire trucks and the newly opened addition to the Frank R. Hamlyn Fire Station in Lucas. The 2.8 million project was completed in about 14 months. The addition includes sleeping quarters, office, kitchen, laundry, and much more for the 11 paid plus 32 volunteer fire-rescue staff.
