Shoebox gifts collected by volunteers

As the collection point for Operation Christmas Child (OCC), First Baptist Wylie received more than 17,000 shoeboxes filled with gifts from several area churches and organizations to send to needy children around the world.

Susan Seibert, area coordinator for Operation Christmas Child in southern Collin County, said the outreach is the largest evangelism program involving gifts.
