Wylie East girls soccer battled its way to a district championship.

They finished tied for top spot with McKinney North at 9-1 in 10-5A.

The No. 19 state ranked Lady Raiders were 19-2-1 overall as of Monday, March 25.

Up next in Class 5A Region II bi-district was Frisco Centennial, third place finisher from 9-5A.

The match is slated for 6 p.m. Friday, March 29 at Kimbrough Stadium in Murphy.
