In the aftermath of a shooting that killed five Dallas police officers and wounded nine more, Wylie Police will continue to follow their standard policies of being involved in the community as the most effective way to head off a tragedy at home.
Wylie Police Chief Anthony Henderson reported that he regularly meets with chiefs from neighboring communities to discuss common problems and policies, but says they all share a common theme. “We run our departments to treat people with respect and dignity,” he said.
