Wylie Municipal Court is seeking teen attorneys and jurors to handle the cases of their peers through the Teen Court program. The program is currently accepting applications for the 2026-’27 school year until the Friday, May 1, deadline.
Applications are available at wylietexas.gov/court and may be submitted by email, mail or in person. To be eligible, students must be in high school in the upcoming school year and be able to participate in the docket on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Selected applicants must also attend mandatory training Wednesday, June 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A portion of the students will be chosen as Teen Court attorneys, while the remaining volunteers will serve as jurors.
