Abraham competes in regional cross-country meet

Anjelika Abraham finished her high school cross-country career after running in the regional meet at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie Tuesday, Oct. 26.

Abraham finished 24th out of 172 competitors in the girls 5K race (19:56.16). She finished one place behind Pine Tree’s Mackenzie Robinson (19:55.74) for the final qualifying spot.

Lovejoy won the girls regional meet team title with 27 total points. Highland Park finished second (62), followed by Hallsville (138) and Frisco Wakeland (154).
