The Wylie City Council postponed action on its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and unanimously approved updates to board and commission qualifications during its Tuesday, Jan. 27 meeting, as icy road conditions delayed scheduled presentations.
Proceedings for the meeting were expected to begin with recognitions, including one for Eagle Scout Jacob Crabtrey; however, the presentation was delayed until council’s Feb. 10 meeting due to icy road conditions.

Council then moved to its first regular agenda item, acceptance of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Because icy conditions prevented representatives from Weaver LLP from attending to present the report, council voted to table the item until its Feb. 10 meeting.
