Annual ‘Best of 2026’ balloting now open

by | Jan 8, 2026 | Area News, Latest, news

Balloting is officially underway for the Best of 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards, a long-standing C&S Media Publications annual tradition that recognizes the businesses, services and dining destinations readers value most across eastern Collin County.

Each year, thousands of ballots are cast by residents in Sachse, Wylie, Murphy, Princeton and Farmersville, making a Best of designation one of the most competitive — and meaningful — honors a local business can receive.

The annual poll gives readers the opportunity to support their favorite local establishments while helping identify the businesses that consistently stand out for service, quality and community impact.

Balloting remains open through Feb. 2, 2026, with winners determined by the total number of valid votes submitted through newspaper, e-edition and official ballot submissions. Results are based solely on reader participation.

To be eligible, ballots must include a valid name, address, phone number and email address, and voters must complete at least eight categories. Submissions are limited to one entry per week per household or email address.

Completed print ballots may be mailed or dropped off at the C&S Media office, 110 N. Ballard Ave., Wylie, TX 75098.

The Best of 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards offer readers a chance to celebrate the businesses that help shape their communities — and give those businesses the recognition they’ve earned.
