Wrapping up its final meeting of the year, the Wylie Planning and Zoning Commission approved a slate of plats, site plans and zoning changes on Dec. 16, tied to future commercial and industrial development.
Following public comment on non-agenda items, commissioners unanimously approved recommendations for two plats: a commercial lot on 5.274 acres at 2800 Hensley Lane and a light industrial lot on 7.64 acres at 3700 Eubanks Lane.
The commission then considered a proposed 88,400-square-foot flex office-warehouse development at 2800 Hensley Lane. Senior City Planner Kevin Molina said the applicant, Kimley-Horn and Associates, plans to construct eight office-warehouse buildings and add an access drive to Exchange Street, along with other site improvements.
