Wylie voters go to polls to give verdict on bond

Voters today will decide the fate of a $50.1 million bond in Wylie.

Polls close at 7 p.m.

The bond, which seeks to improve or upgrade infrastructure around town, includes three propositions:

A. $35.1 million for expansion and reconstruction of McMillen Drive, Park Boulevard and South Ballard Avenue/Sachse Road.

B. $10 million for city-wide street and alley repair/replacement.

C. $5 million for improvements to Wylie’s Historic Downtown District.
