The Wylie City Council will hold a public hearing at its 6 p.m. meeting Tuesday to consider, and act upon, a request for a change of zoning from Commercial Corridor to Planned Development-Commercial Corridor / Multifamily on property generally located on the southwest corner of State Highway 78 and Wylie East Drive.

Councilmembers also will have work sessions on a number of issues, such as the Wylie Recreation Center cost of service study with a PROS Consulting representative; a discussion about dog park, splash pad, and Senior Center improvement projects; and a proposed residential development on approximately 44 acres, generally located on the northeast corner of Skyview Drive and Avalon Park Road in Wylie’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.

Meetings are held at City Hall, 300 Country Club Road.
