Newspaper, yearbook staffs win multiple awards at UIL

Proving the Wylie East High School yearbook and newspaper staffs are just the right type, the members took home 34 UIL Individual Achievement awards at the Interscholastic League Press Conference, Saturday, April 22.

Wylie East’s journalism class is made up of 33 students who produce an online newspaper, a print newspaper, a magazine and a yearbook each year.
