WYLIE — Wylie’s foray into Class 6A gridiron competition ended last Friday with a 28-3 first-round loss at Southlake Carroll.
That concluded a season in which the Pirates performed better, at least within District 6-6A, than some projected, but one also that head coach Bill Howard believes his team could have done “better.”
