- A five-person team shot its way to first place during last weekend’s Wylie Hall of Honor Golf Tournament at the Woodbridge Golf Club. The team members were Gary Foster, Ronnie Cross, Gary Lynn, Kody Christensen and Landon Day. They combined for a score of 53, which beat the next best score by five strokes.

- The foursome of Preston Nix, Mike Combest, Patrick Harvel and Scott Watkins fired a 61 to take third at last week’s Wylie Hall of Honor Golf Tournament at the Woodbridge Golf Club. Pictured, from left, are Nix, Watkins (represented by his sister, Staci), Combest and Harvel. Other top finishers included the second-place team of Daniel Jones, W.C. Nix, Rex Williamson and Brian Brazil. Williamson also was the closest to the pin on hole No. 11, while Royce Slechta earned the same honor at No. 4. Jud Hardage had the longest drives, which took place on holes No. 9 and 18.
