Wylie council approved zoning changes for a large commercial development — including limits on a potential data center — and reviewed the police department’s annual report during its April 28 meeting.
Council considered a zoning change for approximately 59.8 acres located at 611 Sanden Blvd. and 2101 and 2111 W. FM 544, tied to a proposed commercial development that could include a data center.
The proposal allows for up to 10,000 square feet of commercial use and about 280,120 square feet of flex space, with potential uses including warehouse distribution, medical clinics, food processing and pharmacy operations.
