The Lady Pirates opened Friday with straight-set victories over Covenant School (25-15, 25-7) and Rock Hill (26-24, 25-23) before falling to Keller (26-24, 25-21). They lost to North Forney (25-21, 26-24) to begin play Saturday in the championship bracket, but respond with wins against Waco Midway (29-27, 12-25, 25-22) and Frisco Lone Star (25-27, 25-19, 25-21) before losing to Plano (25-21, 25-15) in their final match of the tournament.
