Comp plan committee tackles transportation

Developing a comprehensive plan is important to the growth of any city and Wylie, like most other cities, relies on its residents to offer feedback.

The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee is tasked with developing the plan with city staff and consultants but residents will have the opportunity to review their work and to help ensure potential growth is in the best interests of everyone.

The city’s plan is currently under review and members of the committee met Jan. 13 to discuss the plan’s overall goals and objectives.

Daniel Harrison of Freese and Nichols led the meeting and split up members three groups where they discussed three transportation and land use goals.
