Learning how to work better with others and getting to see a good part of the middle United States were just a couple of the benefits of a job landed by Wylie East High School senior student Ethan Myers as a member of a custom combining crew.
Myers traveled three months from May until August on wheat harvest, an experience that took him from Texas to Montana.
“Everyone should go on harvest at least once,” the 17-year-old declared. “I got to see a different way of life from Wylie.”
