It took two tries and a split vote for Wylie City Council to approved a preliminary plat for a townhome development that would create a separate neighborhood within an existing housing subdivision.
Consideration of the preliminary plat was the only item on the council regular agenda of Tuesday, March 10, and was followed by three workshops.
