The holidays may be over, but one local activist is working to promote the spirit of the season all year long.
Mike Makara has been the area’s Kindness Revolution ambassador for about six months. The Kindness Revolution, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, was formed in 2007 and despite its young age, members across the country are finding many new ways to encourage kindness in their communities.
