Sheffield, Cadieu make 6-6A All-District vollyeball team

Wylie’s first venture in 6A competition was a rough one, as the Lady Pirates were 0-14 in district competition.
However, that doesn’t mean there weren’t moments of individual brilliance from a number of Lady Pirates. In fact, there were, and in some cases they were enough to earn some members of the maroon and white a spot on the 2016 All-District team.
Outside hitter Sarah Sheffield led the way with a first-team selection.Veronica Cadieu, the Lady Pirates’ MVP, was named to the second team, while Kennedy Brannon, Camy Saldivar, Sonni Gehring, Avery Roe and Sydney Miller were honorable mention selections.
