Dallas Lutheran drops Wylie Prep 76-30

Dallas Lutheran downed Wylie Prep 76-30 last Friday during a contest in Plano.
The Patriots were tied with Lutheran 22-22 after one quarter, but were outscored after that 54-8, resulting in the game being called in the third quarter due to the 45-point spread rule.

Aaron Minton led the Patriots with five tackles, with Dylan Boyd getting four, while Daryl Meeks and Nico Ruiz each getting three. Ruiz also had one touch back on a kickoff and was 3-for-4 on extra-point attempts. Jack Spittaletto also had a 36-yard kickoff return.

Garrett rushed for 50 yards and one touchdown, and also was 10-for-20 for 162 yards with four interceptions. Meeks caught one pass for 60 yards and a touchdown, while Dylan Boyd had three receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown. Landon Lipp had four receptions for 45 yards, and Spiataletto had one for five.

The Patriots will travel Friday to McKinney to face the Cornerstone Mustangs.
