Wylie property owners, car owners and public entities spent last week taking stock and making repairs after a devastating hailstorm pounded the town Monday, April 11.

Hail as big as softballs broke holes through roofs, smashed windshields and dented vehicles, and accompanying rain during the storm and days afterward added to the destruction by flooding homes and business buildings.
