Auteur Film Series screens “Doubt”

by | Mar 15, 2016 | Education

Collin College’s Auteur Film Series will screen “Doubt” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 at the Angelika Film Center in Plano as part of its 2015-2016 “Religion: Opiate or Oracle” theme. The Angelika Film Center is located at 7205 Bishop Road in Plano.

“Doubt” is the story of societal change and suspicion in a conservative religious school in the 1960s. Starring Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams, the movie was nominated for multiple Academy Awards in 2009.

The screening is free and open to the public. Doors open 30 minutes before the film begins, and seating is limited. Some material may not be suitable for all audiences. After the screening, there will be a panel discussion led by Collin College faculty and staff.
