The following closures are needed for construction activities associated with the DNT Improvement Projects:

10 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Feb. 6 (Late night)
Two left lanes of north- and southbound DNT between Parker Road and Spring Creek Parkway closed.

12-5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7 (Early morning)
All lanes of north- and southbound DNT between Parker Road and Spring Creek Parkway closed.

Detour for northbound DNT traffic: Motorists traveling on northbound DNT will take the exit ramp to Parker Road and continue north on the frontage road. Motorists will be able to reenter DNT using the entrance ramp north of Spring Creek Parkway.

Detour for southbound traffic: Motorists traveling on southbound DNT will take the exit ramp to Spring Creek Parkway and continue south on the frontage road. Motorists will be able to reenter the DNT using the entrance ramp south of Parker Road.

Construction work includes adding an additional travel lane in each direction of the DNT from the Sam Rayburn Tollway to the President George Bush Turnpike.

Changeable message signs will be placed prior to lane closures in the construction area. When needed, law enforcement officers also will be on duty to assist motorists.

All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary. Delays are expected, and motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area.

The NTTA appreciates the public’s patience during the ongoing construction.
