Wylie woodworker follows life’s design

Woodworker Scott Goldenberg of Wylie modified the tools in his shop so that he can function as a 1-man assembly line.

At first glance, the Wylie woodworking shop of Scott Goldenberg appears as a maze of saws, sanders and planers, but a tour by the business owner reveals an efficient design.

In fact, design is a word Goldenberg repeats often to describe the vocation he has pursued most of his adult life.

“I haven’t worked a day in my life,” he declared. “I am working in my design. God made me a woodworker.”
