Benjamin Scott Wright, 29, went to be with the Lord Jesus July 17, 2015. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Murphy Road Baptist Church in Murphy, with Pastor Mark Forrest officiating.

Ben Wright was born Oct. 22, 1985, in Dal- las, the son of Perry and Melanie Wright. He grew up in Wylie, and graduated a proud Pirate from Wylie High School in 2004. He spent his early childhood and teen years as a member of Murphy Road Baptist Church and knew Jesus Christ as his per- sonal savior. He worked as a cable installer with Prime Systems. He loved to fish, enjoyed online gaming, and being with family and friends. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and the ability to make others laugh.

He is survived by his parents, Perry and Melanie Wright; sister, Jessica (Wright) Saunders: brother-in-law, Jay Saunders; nephews, Blake Martineau and Leland Saunders; niece, Jaycee Saunders; grandparents, Shirley Arms; David and Charlotte Binford; Jessie and Mickey Webb; Kenneth and Beth Fox; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Clara Webb; Roy and Thelma Britt; Bertha Wright; H.C. “Booty” Wright; and Bennion and Blynn Perry.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy Road Baptist Church in Murphy.
